Family Transition Place

Our Vision:

• to provide excellence in the delivery of services for women and their children impacted by abuse and violence
• to be a leader and partner in providing the community with education and prevention initiatives.

Family Transition Place is working to "Raise Respect and Eliminate Violence"  in Caledon through our programs and services:  emergency shelter, second stage housing, legal/transitional support, individual and group counselling, and children's services for abused women and their children. Our community supports include a 24 hour crisis/info line, school-based violence prevention education, workshops on healthy relationships for men, women, youth and community groups, and community education/awareness campaigns.
