About Our Organization
Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit, ecumenical, christian housing ministry seeking to eliminate poverty housing. It brings volunteers together to build homes for families in need. Habitat families finance their homes through a long term, no interest mortgage. Families also put hundreds of hours of their own labour into building their home.

Our affiliate was extablished in 1993

Board meetings are held the 3rd Monday of each month.

Areas served: Caledon, Dufferin County, Orangeville

See website for Volunteer and Housing Applications

The Habitat ReStore
The Habitat ReStore is a home improvement and building supply store operated by Habitat for Humanity Dufferin-Caledon. The ReStore accepts donations of new and used building materials from private individuals, contractors and businesses, and resells the materials to the public. Proceeds allow our affiliate to continue its mission to provide decent affordable housing for low-income families living in our community. It also helps to save the environment by reducing material sent to our landfill sites.
